Join us at the next meeting of FMburgh, as the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group celebrates its seventh anniversary. We will once again gather at Bakery Square in the University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Rehabilitation Science and Technology Conference Room on Wednesday, October 2 at 6:30 PM.
We are pleased to welcome Ronnie Rios, a senior consulting engineer with Claris, to the virtual podium to discuss Design for Non-Designers. In this exciting presentation, Ronnie will share practical ways to help us consistently create good-looking apps that deliver quality experiences to our users. We’ll explore how to choose color and font, layout design tips, icons, suggested tools, and more. As is our custom, we plan to hold the organized presentation time to about an hour or so, and allow for additional discussion and networking time following the presentation.
After a brief introduction at 6:30, we will enjoy dinner before starting the official presentation. A selection of pizzas and a salad are on the evening’s menu along with an assortment of chips and beverages. Also, as part of our anniversary celebration, ice cream cake from Dairy Queen is on the menu for dessert after the presentation. If you have any special dietary considerations, please make a note when submitting your RSVP. We will do our best to plan the meal accordingly, but please understand if we are unable to accommodate every restriction.
We always encourage everyone to attend in-person for the camaraderie and sharing of ideas (and food), However, this meeting will be available via web conferencing to allow members to attend if they are unable to be at Bakery Square in person. If you plan to attend remotely, please indicate that when submitting your RSVP. Please note that if you are attending remotely, you are responsible for getting your own ice cream cake.
