The next meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, is scheduled for Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 7:00 PM EDT. We hope you can join us in-person or virtually for this hybrid session.
The agenda for the evening includes the Claris Engage 2024 Review roundtable discussion. This is a variation of our standard roundtable discussion format and also marks the first time that attendees have “homework”. Even though Claris Engage took place back in February, we have not held a proper recap meeting since then. This gathering is that missing Claris Engage 2024 recap, but it is more than just a recap meeting for Engage attendees.
Claris International, Inc. has released the video recordings from the 50+ sessions at Claris Engage 2024. You can find them under the Claris Academy banner inside the Claris Community website. They also making select recordings public via the Claris YouTube channel beginning April 10. Since this is the case, take some time to watch a video or two or five before our gathering, and come prepared to share a review or recommendation of a session that other FMburgh attendees will want to check out. Even if you were unable to visit Austin during the first week of February, you still have the opportunity to share your Engage thoughts on any of the 50+ sessions.
In particular, please watch Delivering AI-Driven Solutions with FileMaker: A Practical Overview, presented by Ronnie Rios, product manager with Claris International, Inc. We are pleased to welcome Ronnie as a special guest to the virtual podium, as he will join us for a period of Q & A. If you see something in Ronnie’s session and need clarification or want to learn more, this is your chance to ask your question directly and get the answer. To get a jumpstart on your homework, you can view Ronnie’s presentation here.
As is our custom, we will open the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting if time permits so bring your questions. Hopefully, with a room full of FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
As noted above, you have the option to attend the meeting remotely. If you want to participate live and in living color, we are back in the meeting room at the Eat’n Park restaurant in Robinson Twp. Eat’n Park is now the place for for smiles and great FileMaker discussion. For those that can join us, we will gather at 6:00 PM to share some food before beginning the official meeting at 7:00. The restaurant is located at 100 Park Manor Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
You can use the form below to let us know you’ll be there one way or the other. Mark you calendars and make plans to join us!
