With the start of vacation season, FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, took our customary mid-summer break in July. Due to a last-minute scheduling change, the August meeting of FMburgh was moved from a hybrid session to an online-only format and we met on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 7:00 PM EDT.
The agenda for the evening included a roundtable discussion centered around the topic AutoEnter Live Takeaways. A number of FMburgh members participated in the virtual AutoEnter Live conference on Tuesday, July 19 and Wednesday, July 20. As with the FileMaker Developer Conferences of years past, they were eager to discuss what was seen and heard during the various online sessions. They provided feedback on the sessions attended as well as the wisdom and insight gained during the course of the two days. At this meeting, we were also joined by Gianine Campbell, and Andrew Lecates from Claris International, Inc. for an Ask Me Anything conversation. They provided updates and answered questions related to the new Problem Solvers Circle program and the most recent updates to Claris Studio shared by Robert Holsey during the AutoEnter Live event.
As is our custom, we opened the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting.
