The June meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, took place on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at 7:00 PM EDT in an online-only format.
The agenda for the evening began with a presentation from Todd Weller on using FileMaker as both an API consumer and source. As customer needs continue to evolve, it has become necessary to integrate our FileMaker solutions with external data sources using more than just a simple import or export. Todd walked us through the process he used to figure out how to deliver what the customer requested and also shared the resources and tools that helped him on this journey of integrating with an API for the first time.
At this meeting, we were also joined by Gianine Campbell, Rosemary Tietge, and Andrew Lecates from Claris International, Inc. for an Ask Me Anything conversation. They provided updates and answered questions related to the new Problem Solvers Circle program and the recent webinar previewing Claris Studio.
