With the start of the new year, FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, took its customary mid-winter break in January. That meant our first meeting of 2022 took place on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at 7:00 PM EST. Due to some scheduling conflicts with our regular meeting space at Bakery Square in the University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Rehabilitation Science and Technology Conference Room during that week, February’s FMburgh meeting was an online-only gathering.
The agenda for the evening included one of our “almost famous” FileMaker Show-n-Tell presentations. We were pleased to welcome Todd Weller from Cross IT Services & Solutions, LLC to the virtual podium. During the official presentation, Todd provided a deep dive into a custom function he was working on to return the name of the front-most tab panel of the tab panel object or slide control object on a layout. As is our custom, we opened the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting and enjoyed a great time of sharing ideas.
