The December meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, was held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 6:30 PM EST in a hybrid format with both in-person and remote attendees.
The scheduled FileMaker Show-n-Tell on the agenda was pre-empted by a surprise visit from Claris International, Inc to this meeting. Giuliano Iacobelli, Director of Product Management, delivered a short presentation of a data collection app built using some of the “new stuff” discussed during Claris Engage Beyond 2021. Then, as part of this first ever Claris Corner, the attendees participated in an extended question and answer session with Giuliano and Brad Freitag, Claris CEO, which included discussion specific to the presentation as well as a few general FileMaker topics.
As is our custom, we opened the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the Claris Corner segment.
