To accommodate some schedule changes, the September meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, was held on the second Wednesday of the month. While we had hoped to finally gather in-person once again, the attendees gathered virtually on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 7:00 PM EDT.
As part of the FileMaker Show-n-Tell, we welcomed Beth Latta from IT Solutions Consulting, Inc. and Teresa Mokwa from ProFile Developers to the virtual podium. Teresa walked us through a technique to replace a FileMaker portal object displaying releated notes with HTML-formatted text in a Web Viewer object. Then, Beth gave us a tour of a solution she uses to assemble project proposals for her clients. Each presentation gave us the opportunity to see how they have solved real-world problems using the wonderful tool that is FileMaker.
