The August 2020 meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, was held on Wednesday, August 5 in an online-only format due to the continuing regional and national health directives related to COVID-19. To avoid conflicts with the online Claris Engage conference also taking place that week, our meeting started at 9:00 AM EDT instead of our usual evening time slot.
At previous FileMaker Developer Conferences, members of FMburgh have traditionally gathered for breakfast as a group on the second day of the conference. In keeping with that tradition while maintaining our social distance, this meeting was a virtual DevCon breakfast, meaning it is was B.Y.O.B. i.e. bring your own bagel. After some brief introductions, we reviewed and discussed the Claris Engage sessions that took place on Tuesday, August 4, and then previewed the sessions that were scheduled to take place later in the day on Wednesday.
Once the roundtable concluded, we opened the floor to general FileMaker discussion. Luckily, with a room full of FileMaker experts, we had the answers for any questions that were raised.
