The next meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, will take place at Bakery Square in the University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Rehabilitation Science and Technology Conference Room on April 3 at 6:30 PM.
The agenda for the evening includes a roundtable discussion centered around the topic “It’s a Trap!” When writing FileMaker scripts, error handling is a routine task for all developers. We will discuss the various methods used for error trapping, the ‘normal’ errors that occur and the not so common ones.
As is our custom, we plan to hold the organized discussion time to about an hour or so, and allow for additional discussion and networking time following the presentations.
After a brief introduction at 6:30, we will enjoy dinner before starting the presentation. A selection of pizzas and a salad are on the evening’s menu along with an assortment of chips, beverages, and cookies. If you have any special dietary considerations, please make a note when submitting your RSVP. We will do our best to plan the meal accordingly, but please understand if we are unable to accommodate every restriction.
We always encourage everyone to attend in-person for the camaraderie and sharing of ideas (and food), However, we plan to make this meeting available via web conferencing to allow members to attend if they are unable to be at Bakery Square in person. If you plan to attend remotely, please indicate that when submitting your RSVP.
