Please join us on Wednesday, December 4, at the next meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group. We will once again gather at Bakery Square in the University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Rehabilitation Science and Technology Conference Room. The meeting includes a roundtable discussion centered around the topic New Year’s (Problem) Resolutions.
As another year comes to a close, we will use this time to discuss those issues that have challenged us in our FileMaker custom apps over the last twelve months. Then, we will all put our heads together to come up with a solution that lets you start the new year on the right foot and no longer worrying about that problem. Hopefully, with a room full of FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
The release of FileMaker 18 six months ago brought with it a number of new features and functions. We will also take this opportunity to discuss the solutions we have built, and how the new tools of FileMaker 18 have altered our development process.
And if that isn’t enough for this year-end extravaganza, we will test the FileMaker and pop culture knowledge of everyone in attendance by playing a few rounds of Who Wants to Be a FileMaker Developer?
After a brief introduction at 6:30, we will enjoy dinner before starting the official roundtable, and also allow for additional discussion and networking time following the presentation. A variety of pizzas are on the evening’s menu along with an assortment of chips, cookies and beverages. If you have any special dietary considerations, please make a note when submitting your RSVP. We will do our best to plan the meal accordingly, but please understand if we are unable to accommodate every restriction.
We always encourage everyone to attend in-person for the camaraderie and sharing of ideas (and food). However, as long as the technology allows, this meeting will be available via web conferencing to allow members to attend if they are unable to be at Bakery Square in person. If you plan to attend remotely, please indicate that when submitting your RSVP.
