Following the September 2024 meeting of FMburgh (the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group), we asked the attendees how often they use JSON in their development and how they continue learning all things Claris FileMaker. We also asked each attendee which Looney Tunes character best describes their personality.
Q1) How often do you use JSON in your FileMaker solutions?
14.3% – I’ve been using JSON since before we had native functions.
71.4% – Now that we have native JSON functions, I don’t know how I would build my solutions without it.
0.00% – I can see the possibilities, but I’m still getting comfortable with the syntax and using the functions.
14.3% – My FileMaker solutions are not complicated enough to require me to parse JSON objects.
0.00% – I think JSON is as scary as Freddy Krueger so I avoid using it all costs.
