FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, returns on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 7:00 PM EST for its final meeting of the of the year. We hope you can join us in-person or virtually for this hybrid session.
The agenda for December’s meeting includes a Year In Review roundtable discussion. The evening is open to discuss all things Claris FileMaker, Claris Connect, and Claris Studio. Did you learn a new technique? Was a new feature exactly what you needed to solve the problem? Where do you see Claris heading in the coming year? We’ll discuss all of these things and more.
Also, in keeping with the holiday spirit, we are going to borrow inspiration from the Claris Beyond user group and hold our first ever Ugly Layout contest as part of the evening’s events. To participate, simply come prepared to share a screen shot of an ugly layout you either inherited or even constructed in the distant past. After a quick review of all submissions, we’ll vote for the winner (or loser depending upon your perspective).
As is our custom, we will open the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting if time permits so bring your questions. Hopefully, with a room full of FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
As noted above, you have the option to attend the meeting remotely. If you want to participate live and in living color, we are back at the small meeting room at the Eat’n Park restaurant in Robinson Twp. Eat’n Park is now the place for for smiles and great FileMaker discussion. For those that can join us, we will gather at 6:15 PM to share some food before beginning the official meeting at 7:00. The restaurant is located at 100 Park Manor Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
