After a slight deviation from our regular schedule in October, FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group, returns to its regular first Wednesday of the month time slot in November. That means our next gathering takes place on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 7:00 PM EDT. We hope you can join us in-person or virtually for this hybrid session.
We are going to revisit a popular topic from the earlier this year as the agenda for the evening includes a FileMaker Show-n-Tell: Speed Round presentation. The FileMaker Show-n-Tell is a regular part of our meetings, and it includes one or two of our peers sharing something cool they’ve built and showing us what it looks like under the hood. If you have something to share that only takes five to ten minutes instead of the usual 20 to 30 minutes, this Speed Round is for you. You can share a single function or script step or technique that was just what you needed to solve the problem and will help the rest of us when we encounter a similar issue.
As is our custom, we will open the floor to general FileMaker discussion at the end of the meeting if time permits so bring your questions. Hopefully, with a room full of FileMaker experts, we’ll have the answers.
As noted above, you have the option to attend the meeting remotely. If you want to participate live and in living color, we are back at the small meeting room at the Eat’n Park restaurant in Robinson Twp. Eat’n Park is now the place for for smiles and great FileMaker discussion. For those that can join us, we will gather at 6:15 PM to share some food before beginning the official meeting at 7:00. The restaurant is located at 100 Park Manor Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205.
