At the June meeting of FMburgh (the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group), the agenda included a round table discussion focused on the topic Would You Rather…? We looked at the many areas where FileMaker developers have options to implement a specific feature. As part of our post-meeting survey, we asked the attendees what their preferred methods were i.e. buttons or button bars, and global variables or global fields, etc. We also asked what features of FileMaker 19 have benefited users and developers the most one year after its release. Finally, we learned that the majority of FileMaker developers see themselves as vanilla ice cream. All of the answers revealed at the June 2021 meeting of FMburgh are listed below.
