Please join us for the next meeting of FMburgh, the Pittsburgh FileMaker Developer Group. We will once again gather at Bakery Square in the University of Pittsburgh, Dept. of Rehabilitation Science and Technology Small Conference Room on Wednesday, March 4 at 6:30 PM.
The agenda for the evening includes a roundtable discussion centered around the topic “Where Does Innovation Begin?”. Whether a consultant or in-house developer, the process of workplace innovation starts by asking two questions. First, we must determine which process needs to be updated or refined. What minor change or major renovation will impact our users in the most positive way? Then, we must determine the best technology for implementing the improvement. Do we use a tried and true method, or build something around the newest feature? We will discuss both processes and share tips for evaluating and answering these two questions.
After a brief introduction at 6:30, we will enjoy dinner before starting the official presentation, and also allow for additional discussion and networking time following the presentation. A selection of pizzas are on the evening’s menu along with salad, an assortment of chips, cookies and beverages. If you have any special dietary considerations, please make a note when submitting your RSVP. We will do our best to plan the meal accordingly, but please understand if we are unable to accommodate every restriction.
We always encourage everyone to attend in-person for the camaraderie and sharing of ideas (and food). However, as long as the technology allows, this meeting will be available via web conferencing to allow members to attend if they are unable to be at Bakery Square in person. If you plan to attend remotely, please indicate that when submitting your RSVP.
